Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Remote Pro app (“App”), operated by Worth A Try Co (“we”, “us”, “our”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the App.

1. What Remote Pro is (and isn’t)

Remote Pro turns your iPhone into a network remote control for supported TV platforms: Samsung smart TVs, Amazon Fire TV, Android TV / Google TV, and Roku. It communicates with your devices over your local network using each platform’s control protocol.

Honest scope: Remote Pro is an independent app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Samsung, Amazon, Google, Roku, or any TV manufacturer. Samsung, Fire TV, Android TV, Google TV, Roku and related marks are trademarks of their respective owners, used here only to describe compatibility. Platform capabilities are set by the platform vendors and can differ by device and change with their software updates — for example, Fire TV’s network protocol does not support volume control on sticks and cubes, and some platforms require an on-TV approval before control is allowed. The App does not control infrared-only (“dumb”) TVs, LG webOS, Vizio SmartCast, or Apple TV.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EU/EEA) to use the App. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. Your subscription

Remote Pro is free to download and offers an auto-renewing subscription that unlocks full, unlimited use. Current plans and prices are always shown in the App and on its App Store page before you confirm any purchase.

  • Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Manage or cancel anytime in iOS Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.
  • Any unused portion of a free trial, where offered, is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple via Report a Problem.

4. Acceptable use

Use the App only with devices you own or are authorized to control. You agree not to use the App to interfere with devices or networks you don’t have permission to use, and not to reverse engineer, resell, or misuse the App or its services.

5. Disclaimers

The App is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the App. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before a claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

6. Changes

We may update the App and these Terms; material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
